This is so great.

It just works and that’s what I need. The gmail app for iPhone allows for my email to push rather than the not very nice restrictions placed on my native iOS email that will only fetch gmail.

this app is just awesome!! very easy to use and save much times!! Love it

A recent update makes Gmail always try to download Chrome instead of using Safari to open links even after I ask it to stop asking me. It’s been weeks now so I can only assume this is intentional. I will change my rating when this deliberate ploy is fixed.

The app performs as expected. No complaints.

Easy to use

When you click on a link in an email, a popup appears “do you want to open in chrome or safari?” I don’t have chrome installed. Would like to open in safari. There’s a “don’t ask me next time” checkbox that does nothing. Clicking “open in safari” actually opens in an embedded web browser, not real safari. They’re just trying real hard to get me to install chrome, creating a hostile user experience as a result.

I have had this email app for so many years that I have lost count. I have tried other email servers but came back to Gmail always...

It’s accurate and it’s super easy to use.

Doesnt ask me to install the app like the mobile site...

Still no way to turn off conversation view.

How do you get rid of threaded conversations in the iOS version??? It is driving me crazy!!!

I’d like to have an option to send emails as I schedule them. I want to respond to work emails in the night but I do not want the customer/supplier to see the timestamp showing that I was emailing him/her in the middle of the night. So let’s say I am not a morning person but I want to have emails sent in the morning at specific times as I develop them through night time for instance. I believe this is a breakthrough Idea and if you want to hear more please contact me. (Gui.absolute)

Asks which browser I want to open links in...every time...even though I click that I DON’T want it to ask me every time. This is very annoying. Also, you can swipe to archive. I would add a swipe to trash feature. Maybe most importantly, I can’t mark emails as unread. I really wish it had this feature. All in all, a fine app, but not remarkable.
