It’s amazing update... thanks google

Real time emails with notifications! No more waiting for gmail to check messages, no more 15 minute lag! This makes working and staying on top of immediate needs so much easier when I’m not at my desk! I love this app!

Absolutely hate this app. It is terribly confusing to navigate and figure out how to use. Please give me something more simple.i dont want Google deciding what category my emails fall into & putting them sooner place I cant figure out how to get to. Need to simplify, simplify, simplify, simplify or senior citizens. Same goes for my husband whos 5 yrs. Older than At 65. Plse. Make something more intuitive & Sr. Friendly!

Easy to use

Best email app I ever used. The ability to add third party email accounts and the option of switching accounts are some of the features I love on the Gmail App.

Spam feature does not work. No app lock feature Google started off great. Now they are all over the place. Apps are here today and gone tomorrow. Used to have great products. No longer the case

When will I be able to send e-mail? This system is lousy

Gmail has improved over times, I didn’t like it at first, but then I gained to like it, easy to learn I highly suggest this.

After the last update anytime I try to click a link it asks what browser to use. I only have one downloaded. I continuously click stop asking me, but it asks every. Single. Time. Please fix it!!

For the millionth time no, I do not want to use chrome to open links. I don’t even have it installed on my phone.

Google, why do you act like gmail is run by 5 different companies with different objectives? Inbox is powerful but is missing features from regular gmail. Regular gmail is great but is missing the snooze feature. This is like a big dysfunctional family, get it together

Messages which Ive opened previously that should be fast to load have a weird delay in opening on iOS

This app has kept me through thick and thin. Every little thing I’m notified by, which is amazing. I mean, whether I signed in on something or I did this or that, doesn’t matter! It helped so much, I can’t even begin to describe it. Thank you google for being there for me. This is truly how to receive an email. I recommend this 100% to anyone who’s looking for a email app. One again, thanks Google! (:

Why cant I make this app check mail manually? Ive turned off fetch. Ive turned off push. Short of turning off notifications (which Im sure the app will still check for new mail --it just wont let me know about it.) In Android, I can turn it to manual and then only check for new mail by pulling down on the list.

I have added a couple of accounts to the app. Now when I try to add a new account , it’s added temporarily. Once the app is closed and opened again , the account disappears. Please fix this issue.

After the most recent update my app is not in compliance with security requirements for my work email. I have not updated the gmail app on my second phone because of this issue and it still works fine. Please fix!!!!

The message counter for the gmail app on iPhone 8 is incorrect, and impossible to reset. The only way to not see an incorrect number is to turn off badge notifications for gmail, which is stupid. What’s more frustrating is that from reading forums and the like, it seems that this is a gmail problem for iPhone that has existed for a very long time, yet google and Apple can’t seem to get it resolved. How is it possible that these two immense companies, with endless resources and the most advanced tech teams, can’t get this fundamental and basic issue resolved? Astonishing.
