Love this, I have a Hello Poetry account and since it’s a website and not an app, I would never get notifications of when I would get a like or when someone sent me a message but know I don’t have to constantly be checking on the website because Gmail sends me notifications.

So each member need to share some good Ideas to empruve happy life. BAL

Amazing app

They don’t admit there’s obviously an error whatnot in their system but I was told that my account was hacked and that someone changed the information on my old ,lost account . I thought I might get help (help forum) and the issue would be resolved but it DIDNT unfortunately UGH on their useless and pointless “help”forum (don’t post there if you’re trying to get help with your issue) I got a response from their “experts “ whatnot ,they responded to my forum I’ve posted and gave me information that I already DONE and knew about (for recovery my account “ I tried to explain,over and over again UGH (they so stupid to understand) so the only thing they did was contacting google personally and got response from a “specialist “ ,she asked for my account information and told me “whoever the TC was helping you will inform you ..” whatever so that TC did inform me bs’ing me “google can’t verify your account and there wasn’t enough “prove” that account belongs to you “ ? it’s impossible! I answered accurately to the question “when did you create the account :month and year “ then here what is very weird google thinks that I added an email and it asking for an email and what is also very misleading is that says “please enter email that you can check now “ ?‍♀️?‍♀️ I DID NOT ADD NO RECOVERY EMAIL ONLY a Phone # , I don’t get it ?! ?‍♀️?‍♀️ it doesn’t ask for a phone # ?‍♀️?‍♀️ after the verification code is sent to my phone # (which I added to my lost unrecoverable acc.) and all that hustle ??? RIDICULOUS . I even took a screenshots ,the steps and they said “it doesn’t help” BS. They didn’t help me at all and haven’t solved the issue . It was waste of my time posting a forum there and getting no where . They claim bs which I don’t understand and I’m STILL confused ,just so WRONG . It just very weird . There’s something wrong in their part and they won’t admit it . I never had issue like this before . They are careless , I SHOULD BE ABLE To GET MY ACCOUNT BACK but instead a bunch of BS answers and got blown off. I wouldnt give a star if there was an option.You haven’t solved the issue I STILL experiencing. I NEED MY ACCOUNT BACK NOT BLOWN OFF ,at least investigate the issue . You disappointed me . Shame!

I have two emails, one for home, and one for school. And of course, who wants to link the original mail iPhone app with two emails? So I got this app and it works great.

Wish I’d thought of using this sooner. It’s much better than the gmail that comes with my iPhone. I can receive and send emails much quicker and the graphics are super!

While it may have fixed whatever the issue was, it created one. Every time I try to open a link I have to choose safari or google. I do not have the google app as I prefer the safari platform. I previously had it to where I was not asked every time, and now I cannot make that choice, as it continually asks me instead of recognizing my preference! Fix it!

This software is wonderful. Thanks Google for offering free of charge. Martín

Just updated this tried and true app and now it continually will ask which browser I want to use even after selecting don’t ask me again. I’ve tried to adjust in settings but no joy yet.

How the heck do I turn off the setting for thread messages???? I’m tired of seeing all replies ever done.

This app refuses to send notifications to my watch. Instead choosing to make my phone make noise. Very uncool. Also only tells me I have email about half the time. I constantly have to manually check.

Every time I open a link, Im asked to install chrome and use that. The "dont ask me this every single time" toggle does nothing.

Hey, Google, how about setting up a way to swipe to archive? We can swipe (either way) to delete, but not to archive. Swipe one way to delete, the other to archive.

The old Gmail app was a joke. For a while I was using the Outlook app. But the search function on the recent Outlook versions became horrible. So I wanted to give the Gmail app a try again and it is a major overhaul over the old one and I am liking this one. For now 5 stars. Only time will tell.

Just like any other Google based app, interface is very familiar and extremely intuitive. I much prefer this for my main email app. Especially when it comes to managing multiple accounts.

The app installs fine. It opens fine. It even shows me all of my gmail accounts and asks which ones I’d like to add. Then it sends me to and image of spilt milk and “Something went wrong”. Gotta day, mildly frustrating to see the insinuation of “don’t cry over spilt milk” when Gmail is my main email provider using G-Suite. I can’t add them to my general iPhone accounts because of the security certificate incompatibility that’s being reported in my Admin Console as a known problem by Google (problem Apple products). Come on Google. iPhones are NOT less-secure devices. Figure this out. This is bananas.

When I first got this app, it was really helpful. Now its just sad. I missed a very important email (yes! Notifications are turned on!) I even would check it DAILY. Yet, no email. I missed 12 emails in total, (2 of which had very important deadline information). All I can do is rate 3/5, make a review and ask Google to fix that so this doesnt happen to anyone else.

I use the base Apple mail app. I keep the Gmail app around for those few times when I get something I want to “Report Spam”. That’s it. My gripes: - NO support. Typical Google. - On label open (e,g., Trash, Spam), first message’s ENTIRE contents displayed. Entirely shoddy. - No granular access to Settings. - Often on deletion a messahe gets stuck in Trash and won’t go away.
