Big whoop, stop asking me to rate it already!

Have app on iPhone and iPad and every time I want to check my mail I must restart iPhone/iPad to do so! So frustrating!! Also Ive noticed that it doesnt really sync between devices because I will have deleted mail on one device and it still shows as "new" mail on the other.

App is great for education and organization.

I love this for keeping a YouTube email separate from a work email!

I have looked at help postings but it hasnt helped. My emails go straight to trash

Great app for iOS

Hi I like the app, but it is frustrating that we cannot use colors or much formatting on the iPad. I do most of my email responses with iPad. I comment in the email sent to me and would like to change the color for ease of the person seeing my comments. Different fonts would be great also. The Desktop app has it, can you add it to iPad, Please? Other formatting would be nice too. Other iPad apps allow this. Thanks. I would give it 5 stars if I had that capability.

I dont leave reviews much, but I would like a password or even better an option for Touch ID. Sometime secure docs like bank statements are now sent to your Gmail and I would like it so the App does not open without a thumbprint or passcode.

Ive used Gmail for years and the Gmail app for a number of months, and so far, I find the app quite frustrating. The features in the app are limited, but generally adequate. However, my primary complaint us that it is unreliable!! It locks up regularly, and then it wont send or refresh. It also wont send a new email, but there is no indication of a problem until I hit the Send button! Then, everything I just typed goes into a dark hole, so I only create longer emails first in a note and paste them into Gmail. These problems happened on the iPhone 5s and now on the iPhone 6. The solution to all of this: Use Apples email app.

Crashes on both iPad and iPhone. Must constantly restart to get my mail. Very annoying as Gmail is my most used mail service. Gmail works flawlessly on my MacBook (through a browser) and Chromebook but the iOS app is flawed and has been for well over a month. Re-installing didnt help at all.

Make a select all button why should I have to selected each item one at a time to delete.

If youre thinking about getting the app, then do it its a good app.

It seems to work okay for my husband on his 6+, but has never worked well for me. Ive already deleted and reinstalled it several times, hoping to fix the problems. I wanted it only so I could mark email as spam, but I think Im going to be deleting it a final time.

It works for me I will keep using it.

I absolutely love this app. I receive both my personal emails and emails from school (college student); its amazing.

Its been years since the release of this app by Google and still no update has been issued that allows the user to disable the conversation view ordering of email messages. Im tired of waiting and Im tired working around the problem. Googles services may be free but with enough irritation even free isnt enough to keep users from leaving which is exactly what Im doing.
