All bling. Poor layout. Missing functions. Browser link defaults to safari and chrome only! AND does not go to web site link in email! No option to select any other browser!

Compared to old interface, its terrible. When you launch a web page from an email, and you come back it will always go back to main inbox, not the email you were reading. So painful... no more Chrome launch from gmail, only Safari... If you start scrolling an email to read it, email reloads itself before actually scrolling.

Still cant see full email, and I have to check them by going on to Chrome. I used to be able to hit a grey button at the bottom of messages, download full message I think, so then I could see the whole email with the work schedule. Please fix quickly.

The "fresh new look" is UGLY. Nothing else. Looks like a kids game with useless space and lack of customization.. Slow and impossible to move through conversation threads without getting completely lost. Prefer the old version even if it was "slow" at least it was cleaner in some way. The conversation threads were always a mess though...

Used to be able to mark several emails as read and then archive while keeping the selection. Now I have to select the emails to mark then as read and then select all the emails again to archive them. Oh and i always get an error message when I try to open an attachement. Why change when everything was running smoothly before??

I like the updated design. Could still use a print option.

Using the Gmail app makes checking my email so much more complicated than it needs to be. It doesnt allow me to open pdf. Files in ibooks or acrobat, it doesnt even allow me to paste a text body into my messages. I often have to check my Gmail through safari interface which makes this app useless.

New update doesnt attach email signature anymore. You can create one on the app but very basic and no option to add picture. Be better. Be. Better.

It worked perfectly fine until this last update. Now I cant select text in emails to copy it. I cant select multiple emails at once. You cant swipe to archive (only to put in trash). SO FRUSTRATING!! I think they are trying to make it closer to Inbox. I dont know why...

New update Nov 30, 2016. Still no text formatting available. No bold, underline, italics available for outgoing emails. Have to use my laptop to send emails. Previous version was completely functional. This version is a still no good. Thanks Google. Still using the laptop until this is fixed.

The new update is still horrible. The drop down menu with all your email accounts should show if they have new emails.

Now I cannot open files that attached on the draft？

Three things I hate about this update. First, archive does not equal delete - the supposedly convenient, swiping to archive function is useless to me. Second, why cant I swipe left/right to go to the previous/next email anymore? Finally, all my accounts use either a picture of myself or start with the same letter; I cant tell which circle of picture/initial is which account unless I go through all of them almost every time when I have to switch accounts. I never wrote a review, so I think this speaks to how much I hate this update.

Swiping left to right for the next/last message (from within an open message) was great. Now it doesnt work... have to keep backtracking and then going into a new email. Thats annoying... looks nicely laid out but that feature was a big reason I didnt use the Mail app thats native to iOS.

Reverted back to the old notification sound. Give us the option please. The sound from the recent update was 100 times better. Disappointed.

Give me push google and I will delete stupid and useless gmail App. I hate this App
