Gmail - Email by Google App Reviews

No complaints, love the app, just a general question. For the previews all I want to know is could I just have the sender and subject for notifications? I really don’t want the content shown in my notifications when I turn the screen on to check something. It takes too much space on the screen. Thanks!

I love this so much I have an iPhone and it so munch more organized than the mail app you get to start with and I just love it I can even use my yahoo email with this app.

Ok decent better gmail support the the apple app but sadly no support for other custom email accounts. The reason this was deleted the last time and will be again is the wonderful nag pop up that shows up every time you click a link inside a email asking if you want to download chrome. The frosting on the cake is they give you an option slider that supposedly gives you the option to stop asking and just use safari but it doesn’t do crap other than add to the irritation.

Now they’re giving me notifications for spam! I thought it was real and I clicked on it YOURE not suppose to

Sure they use our info and sell it off for marketing purposes and yea there’s rumors of them listening in on us, but let’s be real here. Google is the superpower of the internet. Best web browser, best email, best cloud storage, honestly the only thing I can even think to complain about is filtering my searches to show me things more for ad purposes than what I’m really searching for. Buts it’s free so.

The badge number doesnt properly reflect unread emails. Notifications are no longer cleared after opening the email on another device. This is still happening after the most recent update. This is still happening as of 3/27/2018.

The only reason I got this app was to be able to access my sent mail from my phone since using the default iOS mail app with gmail doesn’t allow it. So that was a headache that could have been avoided if Apple and Google could get on the same page. Aside from having to download an app to get full functionality of Gmail, it’s great and I like it better than the default iOS app.

I’d say this app is probably one of my most favorite app. I enjoy reading my emails and sending emails to friends and family.

This works great as an all purpose email and integrated well with my work scheduler. I highly recommend it.

This app is really good if you have Gmail.

Not a fan of the preview in banner notification you guys have implemented. I’m going to open the email, no need to tell me what it says in the banner portion. Just makes the notification larger at the top for no reason? Please include an option to remove this feature immediately.

Gmail is a valuable asset for my business. It’s reliable & very convenient. I have no problems with the app crashing. I highly recommend it!

Love this application

Yes, it works a lot. I can email my friends and teachers. But I want to email people from other towns/states that I know. I only rate 4/5 because of that. I really like using this though. It helps a lot.

The latest update is terrible. Now my app crashes every single time I forward an email.
