I am learning more and more about gmail and how it threads my emails into spam, promotions, and personal.

This thing just does not work! Most of the time I sit waiting and waiting and waiting for it to get mail. Stupid garbage

Still has issues with notifications failing to clear, even after update with that in the changelog

Some of the mail I permanently delete on gmail when I am on desktop still appears in the trash folder on app and wont go away. Even after I refresh the folder and reopen the app.

It helps you so much, and it helps me know if my teachers responded to my emails, because gmail is my school email

It needs to have a way to unthread or ungroup as I need to file my email to different folder, just like the options in settings over web, but its not available in the app, even I set it on the web, but the app still threading the email together...very annoying‼️?

Gmail in general is crap. Unfortunately I have to use it for work. Update: This thing is now 200+ MB for a dumb email client! What is all the bloat in here?!? Is the app just filled with ad frameworks and user-tracking analytics?

So they did fix the notifications in Notification Center, but the notification badge on the app icon, still an issue as always.

Why dont you give us a print option? The purpose of having an email mobile app is the ability to print documents when needed from your mobile device without having to login to a computer.

New update doesnt work. Notifications show I have several unopened emails, but I have opened them.

New update is to make all notifications go away when opening the app because of a glitch that notifications sometimes didnt disappear before. Now the notifications dont disappear *At All* TLDR: Update doesnt fix it

This new Gmail update is blatantly invading your privacy and security by refusing to let you turn off auto-loading of remote images. These images tell spammers and hackers that you have opened their email, notifying them to send you more spam and more hacking/phishing attempts. I recommend against using this app until Google restores the option to let you turn off auto-load remote images in your emails. Using Mail till thats fixed.

Notifications not working with ios 10.3.1 with latest update from 5/10/17. Badge icon will show up but no notification in notification center or on lock screen. Theres also no sound notification.

Hello dear you can make one thing to improve the app , add mark as unread un the app because it just available in the website not in the app.
