EDIT** STILL AN ISSUE AFTER MAY 12 UPDATE EDIT** Still an issue after the May 2nd update. When an email comes through on my phone(iphone6), and I swipe to read it, then close out the app, the notification badge is still there as if I havent read the email. I have to go back in the app and re-read the email to get rid of the badge. Also hate the format of replying to emails. Theres no space in between the space to reply and the email.

I could be any happier with how great this program works

I generally love gmail but I hate that I cant mass mark my emails as read from the app.

The app does not honor the setting to "ask before displaying external images" which is not good. I dont want spammers to know I open their emails only to mark them as spam. Add this setting back and itll be 5 stars but this is a major deal breaker. Getting put into email marketing campaigns due to stupid tracking pixels is not acceptable.

Love gmail! My only regret is not getting a gmail account sooner. Ive been a long time yahoo user and there were times I would make a new email address just because I couldnt stand my inbox being so full of junk mail. My favorite feature of gmail, is how you have the option to separate your mail by primary, social, promotional. I also love the google drive! It make storing important items easy and they are there when I need verses worrying about where my flash drive is.

Its ok, but theres no way to send mail to the trash from the main page.

Please fix the badge count bug.

This app works well to use gmail on your iPhone. You should download this app.

I have to manually select and delete over 500 emails (none of which I care about) because the are too stupid to include a select all button. I shouldnt have to go through several different apps just to sing into one that has nothing to do with the others.

It has been waiting to update for a week now. I cant get into it I cant open it or delete it. It just sits there with a gray shade. The push notifications come through on my lock screen yet I cant read the email. My yahoo app works just fine. So I probably will switch all my stuff there and dump this.

Overall I like it however, the app gets hung up in the social tab when deleting messages and can only be fixed by restarting the app. Getting frustrating. This really needs to be fixed.

The app is lacking a number of standard features. There is no printing from within the Gmail app. There is no way to save a picture to the Camera Roll. To save a picture you have to copy and paste the photo to another app like Notes than the phote can be save to the Camera Roll. There is no way to turn off Conversation Mode like the web site currently does. The app menues are klunkly and not user friendly. The app does retrieve mail quickly.

The latest version of the app brings back the ability to view entire messages that are otherwise too long to be loaded into the initial view. This improves the utility of the app considerably for me.

By far the best

It looks way cleaner now, although I do miss the old aesthetic of Gmail, I have to say the new features are pretty good. The menu is more organized, its easier to find what you need, its easier to clear your spam folder… Its just easier! If I wasnt using the stock email app for iPhone to keep all of my email accounts together, I would definitely use it!

It is very practical that every new email will be highlighted with notification. This is super useful that I will not miss some VIP emails.

Neither the browser version or the app allows me to attach Dropbox documents to my emails. On an iPad it makes gmail useless. My new summer mission is to find an email provider that allows me to attach documents and then I will delete my gmail account for good. What company reduces functionality as technology improves? Gmail use to be so much better.

I prefer this muh over Apples mail. I just found a few bugs that can get quite annoying. The app keeps trying to remove the notification badges as you open the app, doesnt work. And when forwarded an email with multiple photos, you cant enlargen the photos. I whenever I try to look at different photos it just shows the same photo over and over
