Been using this app for years, and still needs to refine the reply-email process: when you reply to an email, it’s unclear where to begin text. You sort of have to hunt around and press where you think reply text should start, whereas other email apps automatically place cursor and activate keyboard to begin the reply message. Seems like a simple fix, Google. Also, in newest version, notification badges disappear.

When I first started using it was in the Beta stage, I wasn’t too sure I liked it (that was many years ago). Well I guess I did because I still use it. It has grown and changed over the years - some changes I wasn’t to fond of but accepted the change because I knew it would change soon. I like the new changes very much—-and at my age I’m not changing emails. Keep up the good work Gmail.

I’ve had this account for many years. I have never been disappointed. The enjoy the flexibility of this service. It has followed and serve me no matter what the venue.....

Great app, well designed. Only complaint is that I wish conversation view could be turned off for Google accounts.

Since 1/30/2018 the Gmail app on iPad does not accurately show number of unread emails. It is stuck on six and is very irritating. I am ready to give it up!

So much easier to have on my phone, when I’m at work and I get emails I don’t have to wait to get home I just check on my phone just get the app it won’t hurt to buy it

UGH!!same issue persisting ???after an update for this app and still experiencing same issues ????....can’t recover my account(s) :/ same routine ..... I thought google fixed the issue but they didn’t unfortunately:/ shame still google says that “can’t verify account belongs to you “ :/ before that asks recovery email for example for my new account I haven’t added no recovery email just phone # but doesn’t ask:/ UGH!!!??? Still the issue leaves me very frustrated and disappointed :/ I’m considering to stop using google services such as google ,gmail....etc ., you,google will lose me as a costumer . It’s a hustle just to recover email account and it shouldn’t be ,it’s simple but they don’t make it simple ,just give me a difficult time to recovery my account(s) . I remember exact month and year when I created my new account and it still asks for some recovery email (I mentioned I haven’t added no recovery email) and then says “we can’t verify your account “ what’s the point having the extra layer of protection ,2 step authentication whatnot :/pointless . When I receive the verification code (I don’t exact remember when I created my old account ) still same crap that they can’t verify my account belongs to me :/UGH!!! I tried every recovery step nothing works !! ??? google can’t find my account(s) either :/ I don’t get it ?! It’s not possible ! That google can’t find my account(s) when I press “find my account “ ?? shame !! I really was hoping that with the update I got would help but it didn’t :/ (never had the issue like this before. Before I haven’t experienced any issues logging ,recovering ,resetting my account /passwords ) . Still same issue UGH!!??? I really would like to be able to recover my account(s) again ,please don’t ignore and fix the issue !!! If you ,google are unable to resolve the issue and you still giving me unpleasant experience you will lose me as a costumer . I sent google ,again, a feedback and explained the issue hopefully the won’t ignore ? , thank you .

Notifications are not syncing again and the app badge number does not update after opening unread emails.

Doesn’t allow you to turn off the Conversation (threaded) view, which is truly painful
