When I tap Archive on my screen without actually going to the app, theres still that 1 in the red circle there, also, idk if it may be my phone/ wifi but its kinda slow...?

This email app is just the best, it’s secure and easy to use. I also use drafts to save poetry and keep letters safe. I also like the way i can access more than one gmail account from the main page and use the same id across the related apps like google etc. they often update but nothing major. I always recommend this app when friends ask what the best email service is.

In general this is a very good app but it’s been a few months now and Google still hasn’t fixed the newish autocorrect problem that capitalizes the word after a contraction that includes the word I (I’d, I’ll, etc.) instead of the contraction. So tired of having to go back and fix those...

Since the update the other day, Gmail app is frozen. I’ve tried hard restarting the app and the phone - nothing. Help!!

Are you kidding? No option to relabel mail into different folders, tags random emails as “important” and won’t let you untag them. Swiping either way on an email from the inbox list deletes emails. No way to mark as unread or to archive and there is no option to customize this function. VERY BASIC. NEEDS WORK.

The standard that can’t be beat. My go to when it comes to e-mail.

It will not automatically bcc yourself on sent messages. Many many of us rely on that. Also Sent folder displays the sender (which is yourself) instead of the recipient. And you can’t change it. Looks like Apples Mail still has some advantages at least in these two areas.

***UPDATE APP*** This app just updated a few days ago and now its hanging up during opening and then having trouble pulling anything and locking up during use! Fix fast or this wont be the last bad review!

I usually use my Yahoo account. Im giving it a three because I dont really like the archiving and I dont use this app a whole lot...

Finally i can open all of my emails in one place! Now this app is completely perfect.. thanks Gmail team ?

I enjoy my gmail.

I dont like having to look at ugly orange all the time. Also, you cant add competitors inboxes like Yahoo and Outlook. The native mail app on iPad is better.

I’ve been using this gmail app for about a year now and I have to say it is a very kind interface to use. Managing emails is done with effortless swipes. It handled my 5 addresses very well.
