Gmail app works, no issues for me multiple platforms.

I love it, its outstanding.

Once I figured it out, sorting and reducing emails are a wonderful experience.

Fast flowing app some hiccups on updates and refresh at times But overall simple and great, tried inbox found it a bit cumbersome, too many colours and categories and notifications issues I hope this is here to stay

G mail is an easy non painful way to get an account. Its super user friendly and is compatible with everything. So far I love it!

Interface is cluttered and noisy. Label list no longer organized like it is in the web interface. Uninstalled it, but unfortunately had to reinstall because each of the options I tried lack some key feature. Ugh.

The gmail app works great and meets most of my needs, but lacks one key feature from the mail app: unified inbox. If google adds this feature I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars.

Easy compatibility with multiple devices and accounts

All I can say about the Gmail is that its off the charts off the chart seriously its off the chart you have no idea how much goodness it has done for me I just cant explain it its a five star app

This amazing app but we need it like android that allow us to add other mail like hotmail - yahoo ....

Gmail is easy to use and accessible using all of my devices

With the huge amount of spam I get every day, (most of it generated by Googles invasive policies) I dont need notifications, I need automatic filtering, rules and sorting. I dont mean Googles idea of sorting - putting my mail into categories that Google came up with (that have nothing to do with me or what I need). I mean the ability to create mail labels and filters from my iPhone and iPad. Its a full time job to unsubscribe from the many newsletters and solicitations you get if you do any kind of banking or shopping on the web. We dont need more notifications we need better notifications to weed out the junk (like apple mails "VIP"). I have this complaint with Apple as well, but Google is far worse. More and better rules and filters.

Accessing it from any platform makes this my go to.

Better than the default email app in ios

I think the negative reviews are from people used to apple generic email app. This app is different and it is not Apple, therefore, it does not feel the same or work the same at all.

No complaints, it just works great!!

For Gmail this app is better then the native app. However, to make a 5 star app marking an email as junk, or deleting it should be a swipe option. Currently if you swipe in either direction it archives the email. That is fine as the default. But some emails are junk and some are trash, so those options should be easier to get to.
