I’ll change my review to 5-stars once I can tap on a label and be taken to all emails that share said label. I can do this on the website, why not on the app?

Like the app, but there’s no way to mark emails Important or Not Important. It’s on the Android side (not surprised), but Google you need to be consistent. Please fix.

Google, can you please program the app to allow the users to TURN OFF conversation view? You allow this in Chrome but not the gmail app. That’s the only reason why I’m using the Outlook app. Also, please allow us to type in the label when labeling the email outside of the Inbox like Outlook does. I have 120 labels that are nested and it is hard to scroll to find the labels. One more item, can you move settings to the TOP on the left scroll screen? I have to scroll through all my labels to get to settings like out of office. Thanks.

If you are primarily a Gmail user I would suggest this over any alternative for the most part Ive typically had all of my email accounts set up through my phone but this app is far more productive and easier to manage

The notification preview is much too large on the new update. Takes up space of 4 notifications nearly. Ridiculous. Dont need a whole email showing in the notification.

Why isn’t there a “delete all” button for my emails? I hate having to select each one manually. That’s really the only complaint I have. Other than that, great app!

Its a good app, is fast but need more security, I dont like to compare products at all but outlook with is Run by Microsoft just have Touch ID function why not imitate what is good for Users ? PIN/Touch ID/Face ID, right you might say: keep your phone locked, but we have friends, sons and daughters and some of us are business persons which want to keep information confidential.

Used to love this app and now it won’t even let me select a day on the calendar without it freezing and shutting me out! I have an iPhone 8 and this is the only app that does this! Will be switching back to apples calendar

Probably the best and the only email app if youre a Gmail user. Although still missing some features from other mail apps and the desktop version. For example, the most frustrating is the absense of text editing options in composing window. No possibility to edit the appearance of the text inserted (I had to retype a whole bunch of inserted text just to make it look like the rest - no option to reset it to default even). The same issue with regards to editing links. Could be better.

Colleges give you a separate email from your original and the iPhone mail app was hard to switch. Safari was even harder. Glad gmail comes with an easy switch email option. I don’t even have to sign in every time like you do on the desktop web app.

I use multiple accounts for multiple clients and families. This is one the best functional mail apps I’ve used.

I really want to use this app, but conversation view makes it impossible. I keep deleting important emails because they arbitrarily get lumped together. Sticking with AppleMail until this is introduced.

I cannot use the most recent update on my iPhone 8. Closes as soon as it opens. Very disappointing. Please fix.

How many times do I have to opt out of downloading chrome when opening a link from an email?? It is so terribly annoying that it asks— and continues asking—even after the choice had been made. This wasn’t an issue after the second to last update, but this last update completely screwed that up. Please fix it.

If you have more than 3 accounts, your additional accounts have to be swiped to in the most bizarre account switching UI ever conceived. If you use the same avatar on multiple accounts, good luck guessing which one is which. I had to uninstall the app because the account switching is unusable.

Anna Harrington uses gmail seems ok

App prompts you at EVERY link click to download chrome and does not honor the “don’t ask me again” toggle. This is unacceptable user experience, will be shifting to a third party app.
