Cant get out of conversation view

This app would be the most useful email app if it actually let me read emails normally.

I do not like conversation view which clumps all my past emails including ones Ive deleted together. Worse is that the newest ones are at the bottom. The separation between the emails in the thread is difficult to discern.

Whats worse, you can turn off conversation view in the android app but
Not for iPhone! Were stuck with this unhelpful mess.
