Good email app, but can be frustrating.

I’ve used Gmail from the start. It’s my primary email address. I use Hotmail for junk and spam. I give Gmail 5 stars for keeping spam from showing up in my inbox, but what I find so frustrating is the search function. Often times I will delete an email or move it into a folder only to realize a few days later that I need it in my Inbox. Let’s say I’m looking for an order confirmation from Amazon. I will start searching the Amazon folder. No luck. Then I search the All Mail folder. No luck. The search results will return with emails from 8 years ago, but not the 3 days old email. I then end up going to my computer and lo and behold! There it is on my first search attempt!

The only workaround I’ve found is to Star emails from certain people or companies.

Frustrating search feature, but awesome at filtering spam. I’ll keep it.
