Egregiously promotes Chrome

Nobody cares about using Chrome, yet the gmail app asks every time which browser you use as long as you dont select Chrome as the default browser to open links. This is even when I have duly selected "remember this setting. Google is egregious and hypocritical in promoting its own browser and providing a fake "remember to use safari" option.
