App is often frustrating and not very stable

Gmail used to be lightweight and functional. This app feels bloated and obtrusive and lacking in stability and functionality.

For instance, there is no way to set it to always default to "All mail" instead of opening to a pre-filtered inbox which you have no control over. Each and every time you open the app.

Its also surprising how often I encounter "Oops!" messages and I have to restart the app or go back through the menu to get to my mail again.

Doesnt seem like Google at all.
